← Paddock Wood Half Marathon
My home club event and this year celebrated its 30th anniversary running. I was delighted to be pacing 2hrs once again. Entries of just over 2500 and a Kent Champs event this is a popular race and always used as a pre London warm up. It is a fast, flat route through the Kent countryside and a definite PB potential race. It is well marshalled, there are numerous water stations and the race logistics including bag drop, refreshments and changing facilities all great. Conditions were perfect this year and I was delighted to bring my group home in 1.59.34 helping lots of people achieve their PB’s. The medal this year to celebrate the 30 years is first class. Highly recommend this race and can’t wait to be back in 2020.
