The swim was very choppy which the Organisers can't control. However, I did not see that many safety kayaks and boats. They claimed to have 12, I saw 3 and my Wife and other Athletes didn't see that many either. Not good in these conditions. The bike was a bit boring. Up and down a dual carriageway and around a desolate industrial park. The run course was nice, flat and along the promenade. However, only one aid station every 5k and many of the Marshalls were checking their iPhones rather than cheering you on (unlike IM). The transition was very well organised and Salou is a beautiful place to visit. In summary, some very good aspects but also much room for improvement.
