← Palace Half Marathon
There is no designated parking at Hampton Court for this race but we eaily parked in Bushy Park and took the short walk to the race village. I started at the back of wave 2 which was problematic as the first few km were along a narrow canal tow path which made it difficult to get into a regular rhythm. It did feel like there were too many runners for such narrow paths. The course itself was very scenic whilst running along the canal and back through the park at the finish. The course along the road less so. Aid stations were regular with plenty of water. The medal at the end was great and the t-shirt good as well (technical not cotton). I would definitley do this event next year but make sure i was towards the front of my wave to avoid the traffic!
