The race entry was organised for me by MS-UK, so I can’t comment on the entry or briefing side of things. On the day I arrived when advised and there was plenty of free parking at the football stadium, which was the start and finish point. The stadium toilet facilities were available - always a bonus not to have to use portaloos - and the queue wasn’t bad at all. The announcements were clear and there was a good warmup before the countdown and start. The local support was outstanding, with lots of encouragement on the hilly sections, and only quiet down the country lanes. The marshall supervision was outstanding. It isn’t on completely closed roads and they managed the occasional errant drivers very well indeed. There’s lots of hilly sections, both steady inclines and more challenging, and it’s good to see a race that doesn’t claim to be flat and fast for a change (a lot say that, then are not!!) A very enjoyable and friendly race, which I would do again.
