← Oundle 20 Mile, 10k & 5k
It was a windy day for my first attempt at this race but it didnt disappoint. It’s an undulating route but nothing too testing, the worst part if anything was the 3-4mile straight incline road from M8 as on this day the head wind was in your face for all of it, but hey you can never predict race day, just glad we didnt have wind with it. Support wasnt great but that is no reflection of the event, as the event is in the countryside so support was restricted to the odd small village. Aid stations were fab and well stocked. Medal and t-shirt were decent too. In all an excellent marathon long training run, and as a bonus i won my first ever trophy - first in age cat ❤️
