← Wokingham Half Marathon
I took part in this event as one of the Xempo Pacers. For a February race, it was an unusually sunny and warm but this brought out the lovely countryside that this scenic route has to offer. The course was largely flat with several small inclines. Certainly a course that can boast PB potential. As it was out in the countryside there wasn't a huge amount of local support but the locals that did come out were very vocal, cheering us on. After finishing we received a nice medal and a cup of water. The event village was a bit limited, it would have been nice to have had a bit more to do/see before and after the race. I certainly enjoyed the race and would especially recommend it if you are looking for a PB.
