← The Quicksilver Hampton Court Half Marathon
Reasons to choose this: Prep for the LM2019, in terms of timing and location(it is literally on my doorstep) it was a perfect test and long-run. A good turn-out, some fast runners and some fun runners ensuring that there was no "lonely" long distance running Excellent Marshaling and some closed roads. The loop around the "Scilly Isles" in the first 2 - 3 miles was a bit too crowded for the available running space. This however had the advantage of preventing me from running too quick at the start. Other than that short section there was plenty of space on the route. First official Half, so a PB guaranteed, but this was a quick course.
