A fantastic event and the perfect introduction to off-road racing. This race was extremely well organised, ran over a stunning course which took in a mixture of road, trail, hills, woods and rivers, and supported by a team of fantastic marshals. The route was tough, with over 1200ft of elevation, but certainly manageable and the scenic nature of the course, certainly helps to take your mind off some of the worst inclines... A nice technical tee shirt for finishers and a very timely water stop just over halfway into the race added to the impression of the race organisation. Overall this is an event I’d highly recommend and has certainly helped increase my interest in trail/off-road events.
