Ran this course in July but in December the run is a different beast. Slippy in places and weighed down by a Santa suit, I some how managed to slash 20 seconds off my July time. The casual Sunday morning ramblers and the cows on the Down must have been amused by the surreal sight of 200 Santa Claus running up and down. The course gave the runner supreme views around the bay at it's highest point, which is handy as you can appreciate it while catching your breath. Great organising by Aspire Running Events and a terrific medal. Definitely one to do again.
