Location: Stunning area with real natural beauty.
Hotels: Great B&B and British pubs.
Swim: Don't be fooled but the English summer, take a neoprene hat and neoprene boots. It's cold... I'm sure they poored a couple of kettles in the water before testing the minimum temperature allowed for the swim. It's cold.
Bike: A stunning course, but it's hilly! It's either going up or going down, a road bike is better than a tri bike. When is rains its pretty tough!
Run: Lovely area to run, but it's a bit of a cross country course, so any sign of rain take a part of trail shoes! Actually unless it's the middle of a 100 year heat wave then take shoes with a bit of grip!
After party: We were too cold and like most people head to the local pub to thraw out.
A good race, but I think Europe is a bit warmer!
