Unbelievable marathon , Everyone says the big city marathons are well supported,, but NY is crazy supportive,,, crowds appon crowds ,, very loud and inspirational through each borough,, to a point of distraction, at times it got too much for me (AS sufferer) Getting there on the buses from NYC library was very easy and quite quick to get there ,, sunrise going over the bridge as seeing the NY sky line in the sunrise is very special Plenty to do at the start while you wait , this year was sunny and bright so not that cold ,, but bring plenty of clothes to keep warm at the start ,, loads of breakfast and coffee free for all The finish was pretty special in Central Park ,, but it does take a while to get out !! A once in a life time race , if you can absolutely get it done ,, I’d love to do it again now I know what to expect,, and everyone for days after congratulating you in the city ,, New Yorkers are a special breed , and they love people who visit the city
