← Edinburgh Marathon Festival (half & full marathon)
Race start was a little chaotic, not very well signed, so I had some difficultly finding the bag drop and my correct pen. I had heard good things about this race - it's downhill start, fantastic crowd support - so I was a little surprised to find hardly any downhill at start and quite a few long drags out on the route. Except for the last mile or so, crowd support was sparse. The finisher t-shirt, medal and goody bag were nice and value for money. Getting away from the finish was chaos - buses back into town with queues a mile long, so I grabbed a taxi at great expense :-(
