This was the first half marathon I ran last October and in my home town so it's always going to be very special to me. The race number and pack were received about a week before the race. There were a large number of runners, as expected the queue for the loos were long. You were not able to move to a different time zone unless you were dropping back, the start of the zones had marshals holding tape across so be mindful of your finish time when you enter. I wanted to move to a faster zone as I had improved in the 12 months since entering but was unable to. The race is great and the on route support was amazing even though the weather was awful. So many spectators providing drinks, ice lollies and sweets - just fantastic. Water/gel station were plentiful, marshals did a fantastic job. The finish line seems never ending but the amazing spectators will keep you going. Race pictures were expensive so I didn't buy any, it's such a shame they aren't included in the cost. More and more of the smaller races include them for free. The medal and t shirt were fab Would I run this race next year ? 100% - I loved it 😄😄😄
