The first race by the new running adventure jolly running company. The HQ was at a large pub and garden which had parking. It was a lap race with mixed paths and trail. Pre race breifing was good, you could actually hear which is rare in many races. You could run as many laps as you want from atleast one up to the 6 hr limit. The aid station was at the start and finish of each lap which was more like a wedding buffet X there were more than enough Marshalls and they were as enthusiastic on the first lap as they were on the 5 the lap. Many Marshalls were with small children who had the biggest smiles for everyone and pointed the way . Brian the RD was on hand at the end of every lap to check we were OK. When you finished you were given a great medal and t shirt and a box which contained your own cream tea. This was a great touch and I hope they continue to grow as a race company. They have catered for the runner because they are runners.
