← Pretzel Run
This is a completely free event which was held the day before the Frankfurt Marathon. It's a very gentle 5K run, lead by front runners who keep the pace very slow, you're not allowed to pass them, as they are keeping you safe whilst the police are doing rolling road closures ahead. The idea is to loosen the legs from maybe your flight or journey and at the end there is free pretzels and a pretzel shaped medal. There are not an unlimited supply of medals or pretzels though so make sure you are nearer to the front to get these goodies.
