Absolutely brilliant! This is the biggest race I have taken part in and loved it! Registration was easy enough, all online with lots of emails leading up to race day with clear and concise instructions on what to expect. The race itself was brilliantly organised with clearly marked pens and lots of marshals ready to help. I've never used a baggage drop before but this one was quick and easy to use with very friendly volunteers. Although there was over 14000 runners, the start of the race was brilliant and you could quickly get up to race pace without having to fight through the crowd. The route is very flat, with only a couple of very slight inclines, also very well supported! Members of the public lining the streets and cheering you on most of the way round! The spectators made the friendly marshals made the day so much better! I would also like to mention how easy it was to access the race, I got there nice and early and used the Manchester tram network. Free parking, cheap tram and lots of helpful people getting you around and back to your car after the race. Lovely medal and I have a new favourite finisher t shirt too! I will definitely be returning next year!
