A fantastic event. I was lucky enough to get a place via charity, so therefore VFM was rated highly. Despite the absolute downpour that happened all weekend, there were many spectators on the course, and the marshals all seemed cheerful. One of the greatest things was that you start next to a Wetherspoons so you can keep warm and dry and caffeined up yards from your start pen. Everything seemed smooth with organisation, even after the line when collecting goody bag and baggage. The route took in a fair bit of the city and Edgebaston. Cannon Hill Park is decent, and was nice to run around Edgebaston Cricket Ground as well. Hoping to be back in 2019.
