This was my first time at Salisbury Half Marathon and I was very impressed. I choose to sign up to this event as it said it was virtually flat - although I am usually skeptical about this as it's not always the case, however it was true for the route in Salisbury. The registration process, value for money, pre-race info, briefing and logistics were all very good, and the information on the day was good. I found the route to be quite tough mentally as it's two laps and for much of the course you're on your own with little crowd support, although the support in the city centre was excellent. The marshalls were extremely friendly and supporting though, which made a huge difference. All in all, I would recommend this event, particularly for those looking to get a personal best. Well managed and great value for money... Thank you again to the marshalls and to the race organisers.
