← Beeston 10K & 5K

This was the first time It's Grim Up North Running have held the Beeston 10k. For those not in the know, Beeston is an area in the south of Leeds. Registration was in a local pub two minutes walk from the start, which was in Cross Flats park. The route was a lap of the park, then a lap which went around the outside of the park - twice. 99% of the route was on tarmac so this is classed as a road race. Once again, the organisers managed to produce another cracking medal. And of course, a bottle of beer and cake at the finish were welcome. Great event, well organised and friendly!
