← Blacksheep 3 & 6 Hour Challenge
This is the first time I have completed this event, and it was a cracker! On the day, there was a Sheep Fair, (welcome to Yorkshire), in Masham which helped with the crowds and the support. Each lap was 3.4 miles which took in woodland trails, open fields, paths along the river, along a golf course and through the market square in Masham. It was a 6 hour challenge, (3 hour also available), and you could stop whenever you wanted. I completed 7 laps and think I spoke to someone different on each one. As always with It's Grim Up North Running events, they are friendly, well organised with fantastic medals, cakes and of course - a bottle of Black Sheep Ale! This event also had a BBQ with Black Sheep ale sausages - just hit the spot! Definitely be back next year.
