This was my second marathon but first time doing it in Brighton. It was a great race and I really enjoyed it. I had to pick up my number on the saturday as I am not local and there was a queue to pick up your race number but luckily I wasnt queuing for too long. You only get given a small drawstring bag to put your stuff in and if you were staying for the night then it doesnt give you a lot of space in the bag to put your belongings in!

There were plenty of water stations, energy gel stations, jelly babies etc. The course is fairly flat and a good choice for getting a PB! It was a warm sunny day and when the sun was out it did feel warm but the sea breeze felt really nice which is an advantage. I managed to get a PB on this course and I have entered to do Brighton again next year, really looking forward to it and cant wait! I would definitely recommend this race, its a good one to do!
