← Vitality North London Half Marathon
This was my first ever half marathon and although I completed plenty of training miles I found the course really tough with lots of steep inclines. Really didn't appreciate the big hills at 10 and 12 miles ! Finishing inside Wembley though is amazing and made it worthwile (even though it was uphill again to get into the stadium). The organisation is as good as you would expect for the size of event, only gripe was the shocking changing facilities post race, a very small draughty marquee! Really impressed with the goodies, particularly love my finishers T-shirt. I probably wouldn't take part again as there are events just as good closer to home, but I did enjoy it and would recommend anyone to give it a go as long as you prep for the hills !
