← Pride Run 10k
I entered this race after rave reviews from a friend. It's a flat 10k in Victoria Park. Three lap course, very inclusive.
I got a little held up on the third lap catching up with people walking three abreast. A dog with another runner also ran across me and nearly ended my race. It was on an extending leash. Luckily I managed to stop without hurting myself. I don't know if dogs are allowed in the race but if they are they should be on short leashes to avoid accidents.
There was one marshal who was particularly encouraging. Would have been good if there was music at the finish.
Best goody bag with a reusable coffee cup, Kind bar and drink.
