← The Rodbaston 10K
This was a perfect introduction to events by those nice people at Mash Running. Taking place in the grounds of beautiful Rodbaston Hall, race numbers were collection on the day only. Very friendly atmosphere at registration.
This is as fun as trail races get. Mud, a couple of large puddles & even a few obstacles added to the fun. A proper trail race on a flat yet challenging course.
Finishers were rewarded with a top quality medal.
There was the option of a sports massage afterwards which I took up for a bargain £10.
Cant reccomend this race enough. Definitely one I’ll look to do again.
In summary...
HIGHS: Great trail race.
LOWS: Relying on public transport makes this a difficult one to access for me.
BOTTOM LINE: Fun trail race in a beautiful location. What is there not to love about Rodbaston 10k?
