← Run Norwich

I first ran this event in 2015 and it was a brilliant idea for my home city to get a city centre event, with the half marathon at the showground. It has grown hugely since then and has a real big event feel and excellent build up.

Great to see that you can now have your race pack posted as the expo was a pain in 2015 now i have moved to Cambridge.

Widened start and early part of the race also now an improvement and starting in waves ideally although still a little congested.

Great course taking in all the Norwich landmarks and really good support and encouraging marshalls all the way round - again a big race feel. Some interesting hills in the second half of the race despite suggestion Norwich is flat. Couple of water stations which is all a 10k needs, even in the very hot temperatures we saw on Sunday.

Really enjoyable - was recovering from outlaw so was nice to go round reasonably steady and enjoy the run without chasing times. Possibly a little pricey for a 10k but not really given the organisation, road closures etc.

Free pint and the race village excellent after although i had to get away. Nice medal and always a gift in the goodie bag - the branded fleece headband was a nice touch.

Would definitely recommend
