I don't think I can express how much I enjoyed this event! It was excellent from start to finish - easy to register, well-organised, fantastic countryside scenery with lots of hills, friendly marshalls and a well-laid out course, the most epic feed stations of any event I've ever attended, quality goody bag and medal and all for a very reasonable price.
There are 3 distances to choose from: Spitfire (36 miles), Dakota (70 miles); Wellington (110+ miles) all with Gold/Silver/Bronze medal winning times. Warning: all have a serious amount of climbing! (I did the Dakota which logged >1200m!)
My conclusion: all cyclists should travel to Taunton once a year for this event: the south west at its best! I'll definitely be back.
