This is an extremely popular half marathon - probably due to the flat nature of the course. A huge turnout which saw thousands of runners on the start line, and quite a good atmosphere.

I ran a PB so I can say from personal experience that it's a fast course! Medal is good, and a decent goody bag at the finish.

Usual problems with not enough loos at the start of the race (think massive queues) and also I heard that it was pretty chaotic trying to get out of the car park after the race. When I left it was clear but later on, when most of the runners are finished, the one-way exit system didn't sound pleasant, with friends reporting long waits to get out of the venue!

I would do this event again though purely because of it's accessibility (relatively local to me) and quite consistent conditions/terrain - it's a good benchmark race to do and overall, pretty satisfied with the organisation too.
