Frome is a small town in Somerset .On arrival at Frome football ground where you pick up race numbers and bag drop you get called to the start with the other race's. 5k and 10k goes off at the same time.  You head out of the ground head out though the outskirts of the town before you split from the other race's.  The first village you run to is a very nice place called Nunney which has lovely Castle but this is when you hit the first testing hill but not to bad. From then on you are manly in the country side from then on till you head back to Frome for the big climb on 11 miles. This is timed for the fastest to win a prize . Once you get to the top its a down hill run to the town centre where all the local out in force. Only a half a mile to the end and last hill to climb .cross the line ,get your medal and goody bag. Its a hard race but it's well worth doing... well run .
