The location is unique and beautiful. This year, due to the heat it was no wetsuit swim. The organisers should have warned us by text and communicate the right water temperature, in place of 19 degrees! The course is not very simple and a little tortuous, but it was nice to have only one lap and to be able to swim along the river in the very narrow part. Personally, maybe becuase I just came from beautiful clear waters, I dindn't like all the mud and grit going through my body. Also the water was practically brown from beginning to end. In summary, a nice experience, all levels welcome and good one can then go to visit the castle and the beautiful gardens. Finally, it woudl have been probably better not to start both swim, 1.9 and 3.8km, and Aquathlon, but keep them separate. Thanks to the Coke at the end... hopefully it killed all the bugs..
