What a brilliant event this was.

Atmosphere in and around HQ was fantastic with many people arriving on Friday and making a weekend of it.

Camping was included in race fee. Facilities were excellent and included plenty of toilets, showers, 24 hour hot food/drink outlets, massage ect.

Race numbers were collection only. Runner recieved a E24 tech shirt which they could collected before the race..

This was a 24 hour event, consisting of 5 miles loops.

Course was undulating but not too bad.

Laps were counted using a timing chip which had to be worn by each runner.

The format was simple - just complete as many loops as you want to do, within the 24 hours. Complete 1 loop and you're a winner.

This could be done as a solo runner or team/relay.

Water station was at midway point of the lap. It contained cupped water & enegy drinks only.

Finishers were rewarded with a big, solid medal.

In summary -

Brillant event. Fantastic atmosphere.

This format suits all abillities and is also perfect for those whos are marathon, or ultra marathon training.

Entry is quite expensive but what you get for your money is camping and excellent facilities.

Race HQ is a fair way outside Leeds city centre so transport is definately required. It cost about £25 in a taxi from Leeds train station.

It's a race I would highly recommend and I'll certainly be back in 2019.
