← Humber Bridge Half Marathon

Well signposted car parks and about a 10 minute walk to the start. We arrived in plenty of time to use the portaloos before it got too busy so no issues there.

The start is well organised, though I did find it a little congested as people were waiting with prams and buggies in the start corral, so think that needs addressing next year.  A bit cramped at the start and had to weave in and out but you expect that at most big road races nowadays.

On a very hot day there was plenty of water stations, although I just can't drink from cups on the go,so had to stop and take a drink.

The route has great variety, well marshalled and well supported too, which made all the difference.

I didn't like having a water station half way up cardiac hill as this made me stop and get a drink on board rather than plod on up the hill.  I'd prefer to see water at the bottom of the hill so it doesn't interfere.

I would come again next year, and would bring my own water bottle to avoid the cups, and so I could miss out the cardiac hill water stop.
