Wanted to run this as it was the first ever Big Half also entered my wife and 8 year old daughter into the Little Half. Also running it in preparation for the London Marathon.

Firstly I must say that it was a disappointment that the Little Half was cancelled, my daughter was upset but was ok when she found out that she could still earn her medal, I think the Little Half could have gone ahead, they cancelled it a few days before but the snow had thawed away.

The run itself was really well planned and run and the amount of people cheering everyone on was excellent given how cold it was. 

I can also say that I honestly passed Mo Farrah, admittedly he was on the other side of the barrier running the opposite way, but we were both running and I passed him! 

They also gave a medal that was different to the normal ones that are usually given at other races.
