I'll be honest - for £8.50 I wasn't expecting much.
I certainly wasn't expecting water stations on route (in a 10k), a fully marshalled course, good first aiders - and a medal to boot!
It's a great little race, with about 100 taking part, but it probably deserves double the turn out. It's very scenic throughout, there's two absolute killer hills in the first 5k - but it's worth it for the views and some fast downhills.
It's a bank holiday Monday staple - did it for the first time this year and will be back again and again!
