← AJ Bell Great Birmingham Run
I really enjoyed the Great Birmingham 10k! I was initially worried that the route would resemble October's half marathon and I suppose it did, but missed out the big big hills!
On such a hot day, the crowds were out lining the streets in the city centre and Canon Hill park with community support (incuding water guns and hosepipes) on route.
It was a well organised event - my favourite thing about Great Run is that they put your name on the bib meaning people shout your name out during the race. This makes the experience for the runner even better when it starts to become a strruggle.
I'll add this one to next year's calendar!
