Second time running this for me, ran it as my first ever marathon in 2016, after finishing and vowing never to run another marathon again, I ran it as my fifth marathon, needed to put some demons to bed so to speak.

Overall a good marathon, the support is great, the people come out by the hundred weight, really dislike the start, it takes so long to get over the start line and they seriously need to do away with the industrial area part of the course as its just soul destroying!

In previous years they've run out of water, this year they ran out of tshirts which we were given before we'd even run the 10k or marathon?

Brighton need to take a leaf out of Manchester book and re-think the whole tshirt/water/organisation situation!

I wouldn't run Brighton again, just my choice, glad I've done it twice and did what I needed to do, I would however go and support other people!
