← Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris
Fantastic race around a great city. Whilst not as well supported as London, it has it's own unique charm and the Locals really get behind you.
The start is well organised, the beginning of the run down the Champs Elysee was amazing, the park around miles 6-10 is also beautiful (although there's is little support).
Running the route signs are placed to point out landmarks and the long section along the river is well supported and great to see Paris.
The finish is great and so well supported. All in all I highly recommend to others.
My only comment is free stations are around 5km apart, there is no energy gels or isotonic drinks however there is plenty of water, fruit, sweets, sugar and a malt loaf cake thing. Something to note for training. 2018 was hot and I suffered but I'll be back.
