A great, local race run by the Rotary Club. Registration was simple - I signed up a few months ago - though there wasn't much pre-race communication. This didn't matter too much though and we easily picked up our numbers. We lined up and in 3,2,1 the 10k was off.
I wasn't expecting it to be so hilly so this came to a bit of a shock to me, but the course - through the woodlands and out to the countryside arond the edging of fields made it a pretty course.
For £12 the race was a bargin - a medal, banana and water at the finish (as well as water on route) was very much appreciated!
