← Yeovil Half Marathon

Due to bad weather in March i was very unlucky with cancellation but i was very grateful to the Yeovil Half Marathon organisation for fitting me in at the last minute.  I was  welcomed with a hot coffee when getting my number .we had a good briefing and they got us going. You started right in the centre of Yeovil  then headed of out  of town till you ran the full length of the country park .we had surport most of the way with all the locals cheering us on..The marshalling was fantastic .They stop all traffic and made sure we all safe. When i was hoping to get a time the pacers did a get job keeping me on time. Around miles 7 and 8 you run though the National Trust  Montacute house grounds beautiful after this it gets a lttle hilly, but not to bad. You head back to the town where the finish line is in a different place but you run in to the main shopping centre  where lots of people waiting and cheering. When you get to the end you get your medal and T shirt. Your time get texts to you very soon after. I have to say i really enjoyed the run but maybe not the hills. I have signed up for next year.
