← The Big Half
Loved the first Big Half. You could tell it was organised by the VMLM guys. Plenty of loo's, loads of support staff, super well organised and the finish and end of race procedure was excellent. The volunteers on track were great. The course was part of the VMLM track but back to front so we started at Tower Hill and ended at Greenwich. The ONLY niggling thing for me was the parts of the course on the cobbles which has given me some real probs with my achillies. If poss they should somehow work it out so the course is not run on this section. Most of the runners were on the pavement which was a nightmare. Overall this was great and the crowds were awesome and I will defo be hitting this event next year which I think will grow in popularity.
