← Great North West Half Marathon
This is a great little race, 2 small loops and 2 big loops so impossible to get lost. Set on the seafront so exposed to all of the elements if mother nature decides to unleash hell, but this year it was lovely sunshine and blue skies which was a great bonus. Well organised with around 1300 runners and I can't fault it, car park is in a side street wherever you can find a space then a short walk to the start on the promenade.
Water stations on the course so plenty of water, if you need anything else like gels then take your own, support throughout the course and at the finish you get a t-shirt and this year a huge medal.
I'll be back next year!
