The 4 stars were simply because I did not use the facility so can’t comment on conditions maintained throughout the event nor did I know the bacteria levels of the water. The water was clean and I did not suffer any issues after so I am sure it was well within spec for swimming. I was fortunate to podium and was called to receive the acknowledgment before my fellow competitors finished. I would have been very happy to wait so I could have joined them on the podium. I appreciate some athletes may not have the luxury of time to hang around for the prize given but I do fell a full podium is better for the event as a single athlete podium may suggest low attendance at the event. It also nice to congratulate fellow athletes and make new friends.
The water quality was excellent & no algae problems either. Yes, it's a tricky balance re the podium presentations. Given the very mixed weather over the weekend we didn't want to keep people waiting too long & in some categories the podiums were very spread out. - Sportiva Events
