I have done this race before so knew what to expect.

Fylde Coast put on some great races. This is another good example of this.

Registration was easy with race numbers collection only.

There was an area for baggage. Not 100% secure but it worked ok.

Course was two small loops, followed by two big loops along the sea front.

Course was mostly flat but had a couple of minor hills to navigate.

Nothing too serious.

Water stations contained water only but were fairly regular.

Crowd support was very good.

Finishers recieved a top quality medal, smart looking tech shirt, banana, small chocolate and water.

The North west weather can be a little wind but today it was perfect.

In summary-

This is a super event and excellent value.

The course isn't totally flat by any means but I would say it's a fairly fast course.

The medal & finishers shirt are excellent.

Maybe a bit more nutrition for finishers would be nice but overall, I can't complain.

GNWHM is a race I would happily do every year.
