← Dorney Lake Winter Duathlon
Thanks to the team at F3 events, I've enjoyed yet another early season duathlon at Dorney Lake. Todays race couldn't have had more perfect conditions! Arriving at the lake to watch the sun rise over the mist on the water. Friendliness from the F3 staff and fellow competitors in registration and the transition area, make getting up that early worth while.
To also see the Oxford/Cambridge varsity match-off a good sight, as being an old Oxford boy myself, wishing all in dark blue good luck.
Thought to myself on the drive over 'just take it easy this morning and get round', but as soon as the race started I couldn't help but to go as hard as possible as the way round. The reward for that surprisingly was 18th overall / 6th in age group in the sprint distance. Happy days and thanks all at F3 events for a great morning.
