My best triathlon ever. The backdrop of the castle was incredible. Let me summarize: - Outstanding: location; road safety (open road but every major intersection blocked off by volunteers and/or the police); general atmosphere; the very welcome proper meal at the end. - As expected (but positive): well stocked aid stations; water quality (very typical of open water swimming - some weed but nothing bad at all - no idea why so many people complained); no crazy long queues for the toilets (but queues nonetheless) - Could be better: most of the staff was unaware we could drop bikes the day before for the L and XL; bikes were SO closed together (transition could be a little bigger); the lanes to pick up your bib could have been better indicated (I queued 20 mins in a mixed queue only to be told that I didn't need to)
