← Hackney Half
As my first ever half marathon admittedly I have a soft spot for Hackney. It’s a relatively flat race with a few bumps to keep things interesting. The local support is amazing, and the festival area has lots of stuff for before and after. The organisation in 2016 wasn’t great, it was a hot day (again) and lack of water and failing misting stations, but this was improved in 2017. It’s pretty expensive for what it is but it’s worth it for the atmosphere, I will definitely be returning in 2018 for another go.
