Ok 1st time ive done this marathon, will be back for more but only as its different.

Parked at local country park - due to weather conditions cars got stuck everywhere - need to think about this for next time as it was crazy.

We then registered to get number which was straight forward - if you needed the toilet prior to race - give yourself an hour - 3 toilets in the building - not enough.

Start was fine - no briefing from what I recall.

Multi laps round the water which was fine, no support at all other than at start finish line.

Obviously the park is open for all, however when your tired at mile 24 and dodging dog walkers its not great. Lots of people on bikes as well which wasnt great as well.

Nice finish line and support and then you collect a goody bag - no sorry you dont, their isnt a goody bag.... just a bottle of water.

C- Must do better next time but decent race
