← Festive Frolic
This was a great little event, rather low key but that made things easier as the field was around 150 runners. My performance wasn't great as I didn't prepare well but that is no fault of the organisers. The laps were 4.6 miles with one feed station at the end of each lap which was well stocked throughout the day. The briefing was very straightforward and once we got underway following the paths was pretty simple although the overnight frost had made things a little tricky. After six laps I rang the finishing bell and collected a lovely little medal and goody bag with a rather large edible gingerbread man inside! All in all a great event but I'd probably do less laps next time!
