A perfect race to end the multisport season. I knew it was going to be muddy but not quite how muddy it was! But that just brings out the big kid as you ride through a massive muddy puddle spraying water to the sides.

Some short tricky sections on the bike course on wet grass and mud but nothing technical bar one 10m  section over a rise and then immediately up a hill. Most of the bike course is on open grass or dirt tracks so easy enough to overtake.

The run course starts along the edge of a field and then takes in some woodland tracks. Few rises to test the legs out especially on the second run but again nothing technical.

Really nice low key event as ever with Triferris, loads of parking, quick and easy registration. Massive transition area and an event run truly for fun.

Only minor negative it was very hard to hear the pre race briefing. The lady's high pitch voice didn't carry well even with a loud speaker but not a big deal.
