← Abbott Dash 5k
I did this race as I was heading to NY and staying in the hotel next to the start line.
However, Due to me entering fairly late I found myself in a start pen toward the back of the field. Apparently, this is how it is done rather than on estimated finish time. As a result I spent $50 (YES... that $10 per 1km) to battle through the best part of 12,000 entrants... many of them walking.
Far too busy to be a decent race but running through NYC is always awesome as they close the roads. Much to the annoyance of the yellow cabs. Im glad I did it but wont ever do it again.
