Booked onto Rockingham10 last year on ‘Black Friday’ for £10 so couldn’t miss out on a bargain like that! Took the family along too to make a weekend of it and enjoyed fireworks at Wicksteed Park the night before.
Onto race day, we arrived early as checked out of hotel at 10am, wife had decided to enter herself and my son (Lewis-9) into the 5k a few weeks before so was a family affair today. Registration was straight forward along with the briefing of race instructions although she could of just said ‘run to the cone turn round then 3 laps and your done’
